The First Visit
The typical on-boarding process is a two-part series: The first visit is a typical chiropractic consultation during which Dr. Smith will perform a thorough new patient consultation. If you are receiving care for an auto accident, please bring any information from the crash, such as a police report or any medical records if you went to the Emergency Room.
We are happy to help you set up a claim with your insurance company and just ask that you bring any useful information. We will go over all the financial aspects before treatment so you won’t be surprised about anything. A lot of times things fall through in auto cases such as when a liability is denied. Rest assured that you won’t be held responsible for anything that’s denied.
When you arrive, you will be greeted right away by our friendly receptionist. You will be given paperwork to fill out and if you have any questions, we’re happy to help. Once you have completed the paperwork, Dr. Smith will come out and greet you. He will then walk you to the consultation room. During the consultation, Dr. Smith will ask you a lot of questions so he can learn everything about what happened during the car accident.
The Second Visit
The second visit is a little shorter and will take closer to thirty minutes. Typically this visit occurs the day after the first visit. During this visit, you will head directly to the adjustment table. You will also receive a massage and hot packs to help with the soft tissue. It’s a very relaxing process. Dr. Smith will share his recommendations for treatment with you and together you will create a wellness plan for your healing.
