Dr. Smith wants all prospective patients to know that every adjustment he performs will be done with your utmost comfort in mind. Nothing hurts! Dr. Smith follows a conservative model of practice, which means that he won’t just adjust one’s spine for the sake of adjusting. He is cautious and careful while putting the needs of his patients first.
Techniques
Dr. Smith utilizes two advanced chiropractic techniques: Diversified and Activator.
In traditional chiropractic medicine, the Diversified Chiropractic Technique (DCT) involves the application of short, quick thrusts over specific spinal joints. Dr. Smith uses his hands to bring a healthy range of motion to the joints of the spine. This technique is safe, effective, gentle, and painless.
Diversified technique allows the body to communicate effectively through the spinal cord. By removing tension from the spinal system, patients experience reduced pain and improved nervous system health. Diversified is one of the most effective chiropractic tools to align one’s spine and restore joint function.
Besides Diversified, Dr. Smith uses the Activator, a special hand-held tool that allows Dr. Smith to provide quick, low-force and gentle impulses at specific points. Dr. Smith has found that many of his patients enjoy the targeted approach of the Activator. There isn’t any twisting or turning of the body.

Once I visit a chiropractor, will I always have to go?
No. You don’t always have to go, but we recommend you have a spinal-health maintenance plan to ensure proper nervous system functionality.
Not at all. Our care is effective and gentle. We are not interested in hurting anyone, ever.
No. If someone says it does, run away. We will tell you honestly if we think chiropractic care can help you. In the case of an auto accident, it usually does really help. If we don’t think you’re a good candidate, we will refer you to a different specialist.
Yes, we accept all auto insurance and people never have to worry about out of pocket costs. Patients should bring in as much information regarding the accident as they can. Police report, exchange of information, claim # if established yet, and attorney information if they have one already. If you don’t have any of this info we can help obtain it.
